The Rev. M.S. Lugongolo Foundation is a community-based organization that was founded by Umfundisi Lugongolo in 2015.Through doing charity work and developmental work in the community. It was fully registered in 2020 with the sole purpose of focusing on bringing Men and Boys into the conversation.
The foundation is based in Philippi, Cape Town, South Africa. We have a footprint in 3 provinces, namely: Western Cape, Eastern Cape, and Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN). Our strength lies in working collaboratively with like-minded stakeholders within the community. Our key programs include creating a safe space for men and boys to talk and be heard, health advocacy, and addressing issues of skills development. Our target groups are men and boys in the community, in school, and out of school.
