We are a community-based organization situated in Philippi, Cape Town, working with men and boys-related programs in gender, health, and other social-related issues as part of responding to the need to include men in the conversation.
To engage men and boys in innovative strategies that promote learning, unlearning, and relearning ways to address inequality, violence, crime, and health, fostering safer, more resilient communities.
To create a community free from drugs, crime, and abuse of women & children, in which all people will share equal opportunities regardless of gender, sexual preference, age, and race.
Create a safe & facilitated space for men and boys to converse and be heard
To advocate for the health of men
Train a core group of young men to act as advocates for men's health
Provide mediation/conflict management on issues related to boys and men
Address issue of skills development
About the founder,
Rev. M.S Lugongolo
Born in a small town called Ntabankulu(ku-Bonxa) in Alfred Nzo district municipality, near the border of KZN in the Eastern Cape, Rev. M.S Lugongolo grew up in a village with various challenges ranging from socio-economic issues, unequal opportunities, and an underdeveloped community. He began working with communities focusing on gender, health and developmental issues in 2015, then fully registered the Foundation in 2020 to work with Men and Boys on Gender, Health and Developmental issues. He holds a B.th of Theology and is also a Facilitator.
